Recently, Salvatorian Animation, the festival committee of the delegated commune of Saint-Sauveur-de-Givre-en-Mai, held its annual general meeting.
The fifteen active members around president Jean-Claude Grivault provide quarterly events. From the beginning of February 2025, from Saturday February 1 to Sunday February 9, the association will offer its annual exhibition at the Henri-Papin cultural space.
For this edition, she invited two renowned artists. Ornithologist photographer Jacques Pellerin will hang his stunning flamingo series and photos of local birds for an exhibition titled Birds from here and elsewhere. The second guest artist will be Quentin Colas, porcelain artisan resident in Maine-et-Loire. This trained designer, passionate about artistic crafts, will present numerous decorative pieces (vases, lighting, tableware, etc.).
The highlight of the year will be “Sinsofolie” which will take place on Saturday May 24 with a garage sale during the day in the historic town center and an evening concert in the meadow of the cultural space. The third event of 2025 will be the dog and wolf hike on September 6. The general assembly was an opportunity to thank the eleven owners who opened their land in 2024 to allow the layout of a course very appreciated by the participants.
To end the year, a fourth organization should be considered in the last quarter of 2025. This novelty could take the form of a musical show (concert, choir) in the beautiful Romanesque church of the town.
The office: Jean-Claude Grivault (president); Nathalie Brosset (treasurer); Jean-Claude Grolleau (secretary).
