Sixteen new positive cases including twelve resulting from community transmission were listed by the health district of Diourbel in its daily bulletin this Sunday.
According to the same note sent to Seneweb, one person died and another tested negative and declared cured of the coronavirus pandemic.
But the virus has become more and more aggressive in recent days in Diourbel where 70 patients are currently under treatment. Thus, Doctor Moussa Ndiaye, chief physician of this district invites the populations to scrupulously respect the barrier measures decreed by the medical authorities, in particular the compulsory wearing of masks.
