Saturday, around 9:30 p.m., a serious road accident took place between two vehicles on departmental road 20, between Ruffey-lès-Beaune and Vignoles.
In the first vehicle, a 44-year-old man died. He lived in the Beaune region.
In the second vehicle was a driver, a passenger and an infant. The passenger was classified as an absolute emergency and transported to the Dijon University Hospital. The driver and the baby were also transported to the University Hospital for observation.
For the duration of the intervention, the road was completely blocked.

A large emergency device
Significant resources were mobilized, including 17 firefighters from Beaune, Meursault, Ruffey-lès-Beaune and Deux Cotes. Gendarmes from Seurre, Nolay, the motorized brigade from Beaune and the departmental road safety squadron from Dijon also went to the scene. The Smur of Dijon and Beaune were present. The mayor of Ruffey-lès-Beaune, Gérard Greffe, was also on site.
