The territorial command of the National Republican Guard of Beja confirmed the death of “a citizen of Romanian nationality”, with a record of one seriously injured and three minor among the eight occupants of the vehicle, “all of Moldovan nationality except the mortal victim”, corrected the same source in later contact with the Lusa agency.
The screening took place on Estrada Municipal 1029, which links Beringel, in the municipality of Beja, to Peroguarda, in the municipality of Ferreira do Alentejo.
The alert was given at 16:40 and mobilized a total of 10 vehicles and 26 operational, according to information released by the Civil Protection.
