One dead, 3 injured in Bronx shooting: NYPD

One person was killed and three others injured in a shooting Wednesday night in the Bronx, according to police reports.

The accident occurred at 855 East Tremont Avenue near Marmion Avenue at around 6:30 p.m.

The deceased died of a shot to the chest, and the shooting apparently occurred when the group of people attended a wake for another dead person, according to neighbors.

The three injured were taken to the hospital.

The police continue their investigation and at the moment there are no arrests or identification of the deceased person.
