One Day of the Acting Governor of Babylon, Ridwan Djamaluddin Visits Bedukang Beach Protected Forest Area

“This is my first task to respond to community reports regarding illegal mining in protected forest areas and near the shoreline. I came as governor even though I was assigned as the Director General of Mineral and Coal,” said Ridwan Djamaludin.

The group first went to the mine site which leads to the shoreline and enters the coastal protected forest area. However, the location is no longer found activity.

Ridwan received an explanation from the management of the pond, that the pond did indeed have time to run and harvest. But it’s been 2 months of not operating. As for permits and other matters, he does not know and is the business of the pond owner.
