BANGKAPOS.COM, BANGKA – Just one day serving as Acting (Pj) Governor of the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands, Ridwan Djamaluddin go straight to the area Protected forest Bedukang Beach (HLP) in Deniang Village, Riausilip District, Bangka Regency, Friday (13/5/2022) afternoon.
Because, Ridwan Djamaluddin received information that the area was encroached, either by large-scale mines, shrimp ponds, gardens, and erected permanent buildings
“This is my first task to respond to community reports regarding illegal mining in protected forest areas and near the shoreline. I came as governor even though I was assigned as the Director General of Mineral and Coal,” said Ridwan Djamaludin.
During the visit, Acting Governor of Babylon, Ridwan Djamaluddinaccompanied by the Regional Secretary of the Province of Babylon, Naziarto, the Head of the Bangka Police, AKBP Indra Kurniawan, along with the ranks of the Directorate of Crime and Crime Bangka Belitung Islands Regional PoliceForestry, Satpol PP Babel and Satpol PP Bangka, as well as other officers.
The group first went to the mine site which leads to the shoreline and enters the coastal protected forest area. However, the location is no longer found activity.
Ridwan received an explanation that a few days ago when he was visited by the Bangka Police Criminal Investigation Unit and the Crime Investigation Directorate, Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Policethe mine owner is known to have dismantled mining equipment.
Currently, the location is only found workers’ huts without occupants. After talking, Ridwan asked the location of the shrimp pond, which information was also included in the area Protected forest Bedukang.
The group then headed to a location which was about 5 kilometers from the mine site they visited.
When they arrived at the location, they were held back because a portal was installed and locked. Before long, a person who claimed to be the administrator unlocked the portal so the group could enter.
Ridwan received an explanation from the management of the pond, that the pond did indeed have time to run and harvest. But it’s been 2 months of not operating. As for permits and other matters, he does not know and is the business of the pond owner.
