“One day in Austria” – Ibis Styles opens in Graz

The ibis Styles Graz Messe is located in the southwest of the city, between the exhibition center and the center of Graz.

With the hotel in Messe Graz, Accor is expanding the portfolio of its ibis Styles brand in Austria and recently opened the sixth fastest growing economy brand hotel in the German-speaking region. The Graz hotel has 101 rooms, nine conference rooms and a breakfast area and a restaurant including a bar area. The house was designed under the motto “A day in Austria” and promises guests an exciting journey through Austria.

5,050 m2 of hotel area, 101 air-conditioned rooms and nine conference rooms: As a modern conference hotel in Graz’s hotel landscape, the new ibis Styles Graz Messe expands the offer in the congress city. A special feature is that all rooms have a large balcony.

Four different subject areas

In accordance with the ibis Styles brand philosophy, each hotel has an individual design concept. This also applies to the house from Graz, which under the motto “One Day in Austria” wants to interpret the most beautiful sides of the country in a modern way. The concept consists of four different themes, divided between the common areas and the four floors with guest rooms. From now on, guests will either find themselves in a modern interpretation of the classic Viennese café or in a Tyrolean mountain hut. At the beginning of summer 2023, with the completion of the renovation work on the remaining two floors, Southern Styria with its taverns and Salzburgerland with its classic dirndl patterns will be added.

“The ibis Styles Graz Messe is the sixth ibis Styles hotel in Austria and shows the potential of the ibis Styles brand and the Austrian market. Graz is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Austria, but also an important meeting and conference venue. With the ibis Styles Graz Messe, we will make both target groups attractive in the future,” says Yannick Wagner, Co-CEO of Accor Austria and Vice President for Development Northern Europe.
