A child dies from a mysterious hepatitis outbreak.

World Health Organization (WHO) reported one death associated with the mystery hepatitis outbreak.
They did not say for sure in which country the cases of death from the liver inflammatory disease occurred.
However, through its official website, WHO stated that on Friday (21/04/2022), there were 169 cases of hepatitis reported from 11 countries.
These countries include, English United Kingdom (114), Spain (13), Israel (12), United States (9), Denmark (6), Ireland (less than 5), Netherlands (4), Italy (4), Norway (2), France ( 2), Romania (1), and Belgium (1).
Children who reported experiencing mysterious hepatitis this average aged 1 month to 16 years. About 17 children, or 10 percent of the total infected children, need a liver transplant.
In children with hepatitis, an increase in liver enzymes has been reported. The average symptoms that appear are gastrointestinal such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and vomiting before symptoms of severe acute hepatitis, and jaundice.
None of the children who had hepatitis had a fever. Until now, it is not known what causes this hepatitis outbreak.
Adenovirus has been detected in 74 cases, and from the number of cases with molecular testing information, 18 have been identified as type F41.
