So far this year, the police in this country have started an investigation into seven murder cases with seven victims, three women and four men.
* April 13: The profiled lawyer Tor Kjærvik is shot in his home on Røa in Oslo and dies from the injuries. The lawyer’s 36-year-old son is charged with the murder. He is also charged with attempted murder of Kjærvik’s cohabitant.
* April 20: 33-year-old Bård Lanes is found shot at Kilen in Tønsberg and dies shortly afterwards in hospital. A 31-year-old man has been charged with complicity in murder. On May 4, a 25-year-old man is also arrested and charged with murder.
* April 22: 42 years old Renate Strand Normann is found dead outdoors on Varaldsøy in Kvinnherad. A 47-year-old man is charged with murder, but claims he only performed first aid after the woman fell. The deceased and the accused are described by the police as acquaintances.
* 28. april: Fevziye Kaya Sørebø (50) is shot and killed in Tostrups gate on Frogner in Oslo just before 8.30. A 39-year-old man who has been in a legal dispute with Sørebø, is charged with murder.
* May 3: A man in his 40s is declared dead on the spot in an apartment in the center of Halden. His 47 years old sister is charged with murder . Police believe the man was killed with a knife.
May 6: Aud Opsahl (88) is found shot and killed in his own home in Lyngdal . The woman’s 59-year-old son has been arrested and charged with murder. A psychiatrist has so far concluded that the 59-year-old may have been psychotic when the murder took place.
May 15: A man is found dead in the morning in an apartment at Lademoen in Trondheim. A man in his 50s is arrested on the spot, and is charged with murder.

– The apprehended person was in the apartment when the police arrived. There was no drama related to the arrest, the prosecutor in the police , Hans Vang, explained to VG later Saturday afternoon. The accused lives in the home where the deceased was found, says operations manager Frode Tystad to Adressa.
Vang then stated that the police at that time could not comment further on the circumstances surrounding the murder, the course of events or whether weapons have been seized in the investigation.
VG’s photographer on the spot has observed a few drops of blood on the stairs into the scene. Forensic scientists have taken samples of these on Saturday. An area around the crime scene with an estimated four housing units has been cordoned off.
FOUND DEAD: The police are investigating the discovery of a dead man at Lademoen in Trondheim.

The police were notified by health at 08.14 of a dead man in a private apartment at Lademoen and moved out with several units. They do not know the identity of the deceased, but tell VG that it is a grown man.
– The arrested person has been given the status of a suspect, and has not been questioned. It is a man in his mid-50s, said operations manager Ove Tokstad to VG on Saturday morning.
Do not interrogate on Saturday
The apprehended person will not be questioned on Saturday. The man’s defense lawyer Kolbjørn Lium informs VG at 21.15. The defense lawyer does not want to comment on why no interrogation will be conducted on Saturday.
Lium spoke to his client on Saturday, but does not want to go into the content of the conversation.
– How does he react to the accusation?
– We have not touched on that topic in the conversation this afternoon. We have to get back to that, Lium answers.
In a press release sent out on Saturday afternoon, the police write that the arrested person who is now charged with murder was in the apartment. Since the victim has not been identified, relatives have not been notified either.
– We are in an early phase of the investigation, and can not yet say anything more concrete about what has happened. We expect to receive more answers when the technical investigations are completed and an autopsy has been completed, says Hans Vang, prosecutor in the case at Trøndelag police district.
– A decision will be made on possible custody during the weekend, he adds.
The homicide target is attached to cut tires
Nidaros writes that the police have also blocked off a parking lot where there are cars that are exposed to vandalism.
– There may be conditions with the cars that can be linked to the incident. There is damage to the cars, and we want to follow up with technical investigations. We believe it is likely that we can put it in connection with the incident, the police on the spot say Nidaros.

Prosecutor Hans Vang tells VG that there is talk of the tires on the cars being cut.
– In connection with the arrest, the accused has linked himself to the vandalism. It is too early to say anything about when, but it is something we must try to get a closer answer to, says Vang.

Murder on the same street in 2019
Glenda Limeira lives a couple of houses away from what the police work in. She tells VG that an area is blocked off.
She describes that there is often unrest in the neighborhood, but that there is also a good network among several of the neighbors.
– I am not afraid, but it is uncomfortable to raise children here when the police often have to come to the area, she says to VG.
I 2019 there was a murder across the street from the house that has now become a crime scene at Lademoen in Trondheim.
