Unlike the Qashqai e-Power, which we have tested before on Tavas autoTV, the X-Trail is available in the already mentioned e-POWER as well as e-4ORCE version. The concept of both of these modifications is actually identical – the basis for their power equipment is a three-cylinder internal combustion engine, which is used exclusively as a generator, while the car is driven forward by an electric motor.
Nissan X-Trail e-4ORCE even has two of them: one of them is placed in front of the car, while the other one is on the rear wheel axle. Their total power is 210 hp, torque up to 525 Nm. And thanks to this arrangement of engines, the X-Trail e-4ORCE has all-wheel drive.
