Meanwhile, the secretary of administrative management, Mauricio Monsalvo, indicated that by 2022 “there is a balance of deliveries of the Pfizer vaccine, corresponding to 2021 and they are working on an amendment with this laboratory “and said that it is planned the tentative delivery of Moderna doses from February to November 2022, of 2 million per month, making up a total of 20 million.

Also, Monsalvo specified that there is also a remaining balance of AstraZeneca vaccines that is completed before the end of the year, with a delivery scheduled for December 19 and another under the Covax system, of between 4.6 million and 5.4 million, to be delivered in 2022 “In case we have an additional need for the contracted vaccines.”

Likewise, the official highlighted that also There is a balance of 12 million vaccines from the contract with Sputnik, which that portfolio requested to be extended to 2022.

Tarragona indicated, before a query, that Health managed to “buy much cheaper than in other exercises” and specified that the Ministry “does not finance laboratories in terms of production” but that these items are arranged by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
