This autumn, the Czech Television program will have to do without its favorite dance show StarDance, but preparations are already underway for the eleventh year, which this time will perhaps not be under the baton of Jan Potměšil, the former head of entertainment of Czech Television, for the first time.
With his departure, the narrow team of the show, which included the head of the dancers, Jan Onder, should also change.
“Mr. Potměšil is definitely not there, I know that. I’m an external student, I’m always hired in front of individual rows, and I don’t know if he will address me or not. But it is true that I was in very close contact with Honza Potměšil, who worked on television and no longer works. It’s quite probable that if he’s not there, I won’t be there either. ” Onder admitted his fears to us, saying that the fact that Potměšil did not leave Czech Television in a good way is also to blame.
Onder also confirmed to Expres the information that some celebrity participants were complaining about his behavior towards some professional dancers directly to the CEO of Czech Television, Petr Dvořák. Karel Kovář alias Kovy, Veronika Kubařová and Jakub Vágner got into this talk.

“I don’t know if celebrities, but one celebrity was there to complain. I even think it’s verified information that it was one celebrity. I don’t know if Veronika Kubařová or Kovy were there, I see no reason for that. But it is possible. I know there was one person, “ says Onder, who so indirectly confirmed that it was supposed to be Jakub Vágner.
“Jakub and I didn’t talk about it. I don’t know who was with the director, but Jakub Vágner for sure. If he had a problem, he would come to me and tell me in person, but it didn’t happen. Until the last moment, everything seemed to be bathed in the sun and quite cool. I don’t know what the problem was. We greeted each other until the last moment and I went to their trainings very honestly. I don’t feel like hurting them or doing anything wrong. ” Onder defends himself, against whom Vágner was supposed to complain, according to information from Expres, that he was allegedly rude to his dance partner.

“It simply came to my notice then. First, on the spot, the word ass is said quite often. I think I am a decent and elegant person. I know of one such incident, a small exchange of views, where you have thirty minutes to practice a joint choreography and you expect the pros I took to StarDance not to disturb them all the time. When it’s the eighth part and you have fifteen thousand hours behind you, you have to step in. When the cup of patience overflows and someone is unable to respect the instructions of a superior, one can explode. That must have happened to me. I am otherwise a very decent person and I took the dancers with love and open arms. There are people who appreciate it, and then there are people who don’t appreciate it. And they don’t do what their boss wants them to do. But I was not rude and aggressive towards anyone. I don’t have that reputation, ” Onder explained, who also explained it to Dvořák himself.
“I was with the General, I invited him. I reacted to this gossip and I wanted to act as an honest person with the director, because I worked for Czech Television under his leadership for a very long time. Under his baton, I shot three hundred episodes of Dance Games and the show Na plese with Honza Onder. I had to order him and the meeting showed that we had no problem together. But if they want to do StarDance without me, I have to respect that. But I feel like we did a good job there. If I’m leaving, which no one will ever tell you, I’m sorry, because I feel like I’ve put a lot of energy into it. But it is logical that if my boss is not there, I will not be there either, ” concluded Onder.
