With the firm intention of providing high-quality and high-quality services to patients with cancer, this Wednesday the Saltillo Oncology Center, of the Ministry of Health of Coahuila, will open its doors in the first stage.

Roberto Bernal Gómez, Secretary of Health, reported that thanks to the support and encouragement of Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís, this Salvador Chavarría Cancer Center begins operations in Saltillo, in a first stage, to care for patients who do not have social security.

“This hospital opens its doors in a first stage to external consultation, as well as the areas of Surgical Oncology, Oncological Gynecology and Medical Oncology, in addition to the area of ​​Application of Treatments, such as chemotherapies for the elderly on an outpatient basis”, assured Bernal Gómez.

WITH OWN RESOURCES

He stressed that this center has the necessary oncological medicine to provide a medical service of the highest quality for all those patients who, due to their health condition, require it, in a timely and specialized manner, all with the State’s own resources.

“This is a great effort that the Government of Miguel Ángel Riquelme is making, offering the best medical care, with a large number of medicines, as well as the best infrastructure and medical equipment to serve all this population in such difficult times”, indicated the head of State Health.

For this reason, personnel of the unit are in these previous days supervising the material and equipment necessary to start this first stage.

INNOVATIVE MEDICINES

For her part, Eva Lucía Willars Inman, general director of the Oncology Center of the Southeast Region, announced that at the start of operations they have the services of specialized nurses and nurses, as well as medical-surgical oncologists and administrative staff, who They offer their services to this type of vulnerable population.

Willars Inman said that they seek to serve those patients who had the Popular Insurance, and that due to their disappearance by the federal government they stopped having specialized medical care, and that they do not have any type of social security to resume their medical treatments .

“We have a wide variety and options of specialized oncological drugs to provide the highest quality care to Coahuilans, in addition to having innovative treatments and the best specialized infrastructure in this area”, Willars Inman mentioned.
