Organized by the AQAD association (Animations du Quartier des Arts de Draguignan), the event will be hosted by Richard Strambio, mayor of the town, whose passion for culture and history in particular is known.
The city councilor will therefore be happy to recount “his” rue de Trans as he knew it, and to trace the chronology of a road which was once the real suburb of the city. Old photographs of the district will be exhibited for the occasion. Entitled: “Once upon a time” the rue de Trans, this meeting also aims to strengthen the already existing collaboration between the municipality and the many craftsmen and traders who are struggling to revitalize the district. The place is indeed taking on new colors thanks to commercial and festive events that are attracting more and more visitors.
