Socialite and interior designer Catherine Ommanney reveals her relationship with Prince Harry. Catherine, who is 14 years older than Harry, said Prince William’s younger brother needed a woman older than him.
Catherine and Prince Harry met in 2006. At that time, Prince Harry was 20 and Catherine was 34 years old.
“We met at a dinner and we have some mutual friends in Australia. From there we started chatting,” said Catherine in an interview with Good Morning Britain.
The woman who once starred in the reality show The Real Housewives of DC said that what Prince Harry needed was a good listener. As the woman who is older than him, Catherine was able to meet Prince Harry’s needs.
“He had 20 year old friends around him who wanted to be with him. I listened to him a lot but maybe others didn’t and I think that’s what he needed,” the 51 year old claims.
Susanna, the TV presenter then asked: Do you think he found that on Meghan?”
Catherine replied: “I’m not going to slander Meghan, she has done quite a job for herself.”
“I don’t know what he got in Meghan. I’m just sad for Harry. I’m sad for the whole Royal Family because I don’t think it’s going to heal quickly,” she added.
Catherine admitted her relationship with Prince Harry was so short. The two were close for two months, but after that Prince Harry couldn’t be reached anymore because he changed his phone number.
