Djumadil Al Fahri (26), executor Rinaldi Harley Wismanu (32), was rewarded with hot lead by the police. Djumadil was shot in the leg for resisting when he was about to be arrested.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said the arrest took place on Wednesday (16/9/2020) afternoon in the Depok area, West Java. Djumadil was arrested with his girlfriend, Laeli Atik Supriyatin (27).
“First to arrest LAS. The person concerned is cooperative,” said Yusri at the Jakarta Police Headquarters, Thursday (17/9).
However, something different happened when the police arrested the suspect, Djumadil. According to Yusri, the suspect tried to escape.
This forced the officers to open fire on the suspect’s two legs.
“But brother D at that time tried to run away so we took a firm, measured action. Because DAF was the executor who killed and mutilated the victim,” said Yusri.
As is known, when the two suspects were shown in the release this afternoon, the suspect, Djumadil, was using a wheelchair. The suspect’s two legs were seen wrapped in bandages from the gunfire fired by the police.
Police said the two suspects were lovers. The suspect Laeli himself knew the victim through the Tinder application.
The two perpetrators were known to have planned murder in order to control the victim’s property. The victim is known to be a HRD manager at a contracting company.
