Last day, 2071 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia and four new cases were registered, according to the information compiled by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC).

The information available to the SPKC shows that one patient has returned from abroad. Contacts have been initiated with the three and the epidemiological inquiry is ongoing.
So far, a total of 220,827 examinations have been performed in Latvia, 1,307 persons have become ill and 1,078 have recovered. 32 Covid-19 patients died.
Data from the National Health Service show that no new patients with Covid-19 have been hospitalized in the last 24 hours. Three patients are currently being treated in hospitals, all of whom have a moderate course of the disease. So far, 198 patients have been discharged from the hospital.
