On Tuesday, a cool night will be followed by a rainy and windy day – in Latvia

On Tuesday, a calm and cool night is expected in Latvia before the onset of rainy and windy weather, weather forecasters predict.

The amount of clouds at night on Tuesday will be small and variable, in some places it will rain temporarily. When blowing slowly to a moderate southwest wind, the air will cool to +5 .. + 9 degrees, but on the headwind coast – to +11 .. + 15 degrees.

During the day from the west the sky will cloud and rain, in some places rain is expected. Southwest wind gusts will increase to 12-17 meters per second, coastal gusts up to 22 meters per second. The maximum air temperature will be +14 .. + 18 degrees.

No precipitation is expected in Riga at night and in the morning, there will be gray and rainy weather later, and the southwest wind will be up to 15 meters per second in gusts. The air temperature at night will drop to +9 degrees, in the suburbs – to +7 degrees; during the day the temperature will fluctuate around +15 degrees.
