Long live the pure dream finale in “On the track”. Two incredibly talented teams kept pace.
Then a “Sex and the city” actress decided it all.
Last season’s champion Marie Agerhäll and Frit Fritzson have progressed like a mower in this year’s competition and have never really been threatened in any of their matches.
The challengers Peter and Hector Apelgren had a bad match, but otherwise maintained a high level.
Also, they have been the most entertaining couple. New acquaintances Hector has always had a good mood and father Peter is as he is; sometimes he looks tired and absent-minded, which is probably just as much a play for the gallery, and just as often he flashes by with subtle and slightly corny observations and jokes. Significantly easier to like than Agerhäll/Fritzson, who have been on the verge of being a little smug, when things have gone so well for them.
That’s why it was a little exciting to see them a little disturbed when the Apelgrenarna for just over half of the match refused to let go of the little grip they gained by winning the first destination Istanbul. The law was followed. Agerhäll/Fritzson equalized by winning second leg Oskarshamn and took the lead by one point via Closest wins.

Then everything was decided at the third destination, New York.
Drink ingredients (for the whiskey drink Manhattan) and “underground Dutch tunnel” (Holland Tunnel) made Fritte Fritzson jump immediately, he guessed that the trip was to New York. Peter Apelgren then sensed it on eight points, through the musical “Hair”, but did not dare to draw. Had they been more into sports, they would have known that Mika who is king in town, is the New York Rangers star and ice hockey player Mika Zibanejad.
When the Apelgrenarna did not know the name of the “Sex and the city” star Cynthia Nixonthe opponents built an unassailable seven-point lead.
In the end win with 47-39. A high-class final, both in terms of points and for a long time also in terms of tension.

That’s how good the team was:
Peter Apelgren/Hector Apelgren. Father and son. Peter is a comedian and artist. Also a regular actor in, for example, the film “Tårtgeneralen”, the Christmas calendar about the Knyckertz family and the TV series “Solsidan”. Has done shows with his wife Anna Mannheimer. Hector has worked with radio and television, made commercials and podcasts.
Both are very knowledgeable, figure out the clever clues on the destinations and have been the most entertaining couple this season. Must feel hard to lose by 39 points.

Marie Agerhäll/Fritte Fritzson. She is a screenwriter, director and actor, most recently in the Netflix horror “The Conference”. Became famous when she created and played the main role in SVT’s comedy series “Dips”, which poked fun at life at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is an architect and comedian. Has a popular science podcast and has set up several pub shows in Malmö.
Overall, it will be the highest score. Have been superb both at winning the travel destinations and at answering pretty much every sub-question correctly.

That’s how good the music was:
Infinite Mass have been husbands in the playoffs. Miriam Bryant can almost match Adele voice in the James Bond theme “Skyfall”, but the arrangement in the original is more mafic.
The second musical number was a mix of three songs, but the hip-hop group did not unexpectedly come into their own Grandmaster Flashs & The Furious Fives hip hop classic “The message.

That’s how good the presenters were:
Kristian Luuk and Fredrik Lindström is professionally skilled and will return next season. A guarantee of the program’s success, without a doubt. But I wonder if they aren’t a bit routine. Luuk has certainly toned down his gaping style. But Lindström’s joke that he didn’t get to eat as much as usual and that it’s Friday night on SVT1 when some dreary topic is discussed is starting to get a little worn. And their clues are sometimes a little unnecessarily convoluted.

A reconnaissance:
I agree that the program will continue to be called “On track”. 24 of the journeys where the contestants and TV viewers had to figure out where they went, were completed by train. 15 trips with the camera pointed out the windshield, not enough to change the name to “On the Road”…
