That is what the ANWB predicts. This afternoon there will probably be about 500 kilometers of traffic jams, especially on the roads in the middle, east and south of the country.
The biggest problems in the Netherlands are at the Afsluitdijk and the A1 between the German border and Oldenzaal. Those roads are closed due to construction work.
Four more hours on the way to the south of France
But the largest traffic jams are abroad, the ANWB expects. Due to the corona pandemic, many people go on holiday by car. They face problems in various places.
Last week’s floods could cause delays in eastern Belgium and in Germany between Cologne and Koblenz, where many roads are still impassable.

There are also considerable traffic jams, especially in France and around Italy. Travelers to the south of France are expected to travel three to four hours longer tomorrow.
