PEOPLE – Beyoncé, still and always a superstar. Arrived without making an announcement on the social network TikTok on Thursday, December 16, the American singer was already followed by more than 700,000 subscribers in less than a week. No viral video, no exclusive content, the star’s account, who has chosen a snapshot from his latest campaign for sportswear brand Ivy Park for her profile photo, has yet to post anything.
Beyoncé fans, in disbelief, had spotted the same day a certified account in the name of the star. Confirmation came the next day. “The new queen of TikTok has arrived,” her music label Sony Music simply tweeted on Friday.
