On Thursday, electricity in southern Norway is the most expensive in northern Europe. It can continue through the winter.

Tonight, Norway imports electricity from all the surrounding countries. The price of electricity is the highest of all countries in Northern Europe. Power analyst Tor Reier Lilleholdt thinks it may continue.

Night to Thursday, Norway imports electricity from all countries we are connected to. The price is twice as high as in our Nordic neighbors.

On Thursday, electricity in southern Norway is more expensive than in some of the countries around us. With an average price of 139 øre per kilowatt hour, the price is higher than both the United Kingdom, Germany and France.

The price is without fees, grid rent and surcharge.
