On the wavelength of poetry and music – Dunakanyar Region

It was held on January 30 in the Ferenc Kölcsey City Library in Dunakesz József Vincze: Verb tense the presentation of his book of poems, at which those present were able to enjoy a musical and literary evening. Some of the author’s small sculptures could also be viewed at the event.

At the beginning of the program, we could hear József Vincze’s poems set to music in the author’s performance, and then, with the moderation of Fót poet István Luzsicza, we could get to know some serious and humorous episodes of József’s life, as well as the beginning of his career in the fields of poetry, music and visual arts. We learned that six of his books were published, he performed his poems set to music with a guitar at many events in the city, and he also had several exhibitions of his metal sculptures. Among the public works found in Dunakeszin, the Attila Nagykirály Memorial bronze bust is the proudest.

The book presentation was enriched by a number of musical inserts. It was played on the piano by Péter Szabó, a teacher and performer Under the mountains of Citár the song entitled, in addition, he recited several poems from József Vincze’s latest volume. Tamás Oroszki-Vincze, grandson of the author – Hydn: Fantasy in C major performing his work – he charmed the audience with his virtuoso piano playing.

After the varied music, adventurous life stories and poetry readings, József Vincze played the guitar and sculptor István Czinege played the harmonica. The chorus of the Hungarian version of the famous Italian hit – previously performed by Kati Kovács What do you hope? titled – the audience also sang along with them. The lecture Miklós Varga: Europe ended with the song At the end of the evening, there was also the opportunity to buy books and sign autographs.

Everyone left the musical book presentation with pleasant memories, the city library’s first event of the year went well.
