On the wave of the political virus

Failing to be able to wet their shirts by skimming the popular gatherings, the candidates of the independent list of the commune of Sâles have decided to ride the virtual wave. On their Facebook page, they display the slogan “The New Wave” surmounted by a logo in the shape of a crest from which a white foam gushes out on a blue background. In times not so remote, the observer would have deciphered, through such a message, the ambition of an electoral tidal wave in the Sionge basin. But that was before we were given the first, second, or even third wave. Regardless: in Sâles, voters are always invited to rejoice in a new wave. And then, in the age of social networks, aren’t we praising the effectiveness of so-called “viral” communication?

In any case, this reminds us that the scientific community has still not found the vaccine against the virus of politics. By the evening of March 7, we will only have to establish the reproduction rate.
