An employee associated with the production of the well-known US TV series “Law & Order” has been shot dead at a filming location.

Johnny Pizarro, 31, was attacked by a stranger around 5 a.m. early Tuesday morning while he was in a car parking a parking space in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn, police said.
The perpetrator opened the door and opened fire. According to the New York Times, Pizarro was hit in the head and neck – a rather thin and short man in a hoodie then ran away from the scene.
The 31-year-old was then taken to a hospital, but they could only declare him dead.

Due to lax gun laws, among other things, there are many deaths and injuries from firearms in the USA. Gun crime has also recently increased in the US east coast metropolis of New York.
A lot of filming takes place in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn due to the TV studios located there. Some residents are also upset because of the tense parking situation.
