“The Leopard” became the best-selling book of the 20th century in Italy and has been translated into 20 languages. Written by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa – his first and only novel. Our author Steven Price calls him “The Last Prince”, because said Giuseppe Tomasi is the last of a once powerful Sicilian noble family, also childless and sick.
