(Agenzia Vista) Rome, 31 January 2024 “The majority uses the strength of numbers not to express themselves but to escape from a political judgement. On a matter like that of Sgarbi, he does so with a banal excuse, that of waiting for the antitrust judgement. But the motion on no confidence in Sgarbi is made up of several parts, including that on institutional decorum. There is a political judgment that we believe this Parliament should have and we are not given the opportunity because the majority waits, postpones and runs away. This is a serious matter for us, the country’s decorum is at stake, Sgarbi is also dragging Italy’s credibility with him and the majority is allowing him to do so.” This was said by Francesco Silvestri, M5S group leader in the Chamber.
