On Sunday afternoon, the well-known, beautifully sung Christmas songs could be heard from afar, which attracted many to Casalgrande Square, where the members of the REdit Senior Joy Dance Club, led by Edit Radvánszki, danced to the delight of visitors to the Advent fair. The touchingly nice atmosphere was enhanced by the program of the Kerekerdő Tagóvoda, followed by the uplifting beautiful moment when Edit Radvánszki handed over the HUF 230,000 support collected by the club members to the municipal representative József Szabó, who organized the city fundraiser.
József Szabó, speaking after the applause following the handover of the monetary donation – who has been organizing and coordinating the city’s Christmas donation box campaign for many years with the support of Mayor Csaba Dióssi – also expressed his gratitude on behalf of the families in need. As he put it, the greatest joy for him is that Dunakesians help Dunakesians in the framework of real cooperation.
Regarding the record donation, Edit Radvánszki said that as the former head of the Family and Child Welfare Center, she knows that the Christmas gift reaches the most needy families, which is guaranteed by the professional knowledge and preparation of her former colleagues who know the recipients well.
After the inspiring minutes, dr. The wise festive thoughts of Reformed pastor Tamás Kodácsy and the singing of the members of the parish helped to tune in to Advent, after which they lit the second candle on the Advent wreath with the councilor for church affairs József Szabó.
The audience of the Advent fair – especially the little ones – enjoyed listening to the Bóbita Orchestra’s program, while the adults sang the well-known hits together with Nikolas Takács.
