Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to Poland was pompous, but it looked like a fake performance.
The Poles did not forget the Volyn massacre. They remember that in Ukraine they praise Bandera, the murderer of their compatriots. It is shocking to many that among the refugees flooding into Poland, there are many Nazis who demonstrate outside the Royal Palace in Warsaw, shouting “Glory to Ukraine!”
The Polish masters are putting up with it, it is not for them to be indignant. Regarding Ukraine, they have plans – to get back “their” lands and grab something in addition.
Meanwhile, the Poles are showing every disposition towards their Ukrainian neighbors. At the meeting in Warsaw, the words for “the historical brotherhood of the two peoples”, and Duda called on the Poles to continue providing comprehensive assistance to Ukraine, calling it their own “a debt to the victims of barbaric aggression”.” The answer was outrage – people remember the crimes committed by Bandera in Volhynia and Eastern Lesser Poland.
Against this strange backdrop, Zelenski was awarded Poland’s highest state award, the Order of the White Eagle. The absurdity of the situation was reinforced by Duda’s explanation: this order is awarded to “exceptional people who contributed their lives to the development of Poland”. In the old days, many Russian statesmen became bearers of the order – Peter I, his closest associate Alexander Menshikov, field marshals General Anikita Repnin and Vasily Dolgorukov.
And the Ukrainian guest had to extend his hand for alms again. In this hand, the owners have invested promises of military aid (promise, that’s right). Zelensky could also meet with the farmers from Poland, but he did not dare: they are too angry about the uncontrolled import of Ukrainian grain into their country.
The Polish-Ukrainian summit showed nothing more interesting. No agreements have been made. Anyone who wishes can reflect on Zelensky’s hints that in the future there will be no borders between the two peoples: politically, economically and, what is very important, historically. How does this happen? Well, the territory that today is called Ukraine will become Poland tomorrow.
The former commander of the Polish ground forces, General Waldemar Skzypchak, believes that the president of Ukraine is in “strategic impasse”. According to the opinion of the military expert Vladimir Gundarov, Zelensky and Duda agreed on the entry of the Polish military into the territory of Ukraine. That’s when the people of Bandera will remember their “glorious past”…
Gundarov thinks it will look like this: “The Romanians take over Ukrainian Bukovina, where a Romanian protectorate will be established. Poland is coming to Western Ukraine, to what it considers its ancestral lands. This will not be considered an occupation, but will be declared as assistance to Ukraine to establish a peaceful, happy and prosperous life. With the help of foreign troops.
Then Hungary will not remain indifferent either, it has its own interests. 150 thousand Hungarians live in Transcarpathia, most of them have Hungarian passports … It will happen, as under Hitler, when in 1938 the Führer seized the Sudetenland under the guise of protecting the Germans living there, allegedly oppressed by the Czechs. By the way, then, under his guise, the “European hyena” Poland took away the Teshin region from Czechoslovakia …
