Libreville, Tuesday October 3, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – The proposals from all sides will serve as the basis for these meetings which could be held no later than June 2024.
Something promised, something due. As announced by the Prime Minister, the call for contributions is launched. In a press release of which Infos Gabon received a copy this Tuesday, the government asks Gabonese people to deposit their contributions. Elements of language that will serve as support for national dialogue.
“Gabonese people of all ages, living within the national territory or going abroad; those from towns and villages, wishing to take part in this dialogue, are called upon to present their diagnosis of the general or sectoral situation in the country and their proposed solutions in the form of a contribution of ten (10) pages maximum. (character 12; line spacing 1)”, specifies the press release.
These contributions, the document continues, are expected from the ministry in charge of Institutional Reform until November 30, 2023.
The dialogue advocated by the transitional authorities is intended to be inclusive and without taboos, in the sense that everything will be debated. Including political, economic and social issues. These exchanges, according to Raymond Ndong Sima, will lead to the restoration of institutions and the rewriting of a new constitution.
