On the page of the Regional Theater Quinteto de Vientos of the OCN presented a repertoire of Piazzolla and music from South America
The wind quintet of the Orquesta Clásica del Maule (OCM), presented a South American repertoire with exponents from Argentina, Peru and Brazil. The free event was broadcast on the Maule Regional Theater (TRM) website, www.teatroregional.cl/vivo, Facebook Live, and its YouTube channel.
The ensemble made up of Felipe Fuentealba (clarinet), Mauricio Arriagada (oboe), Paula Ordóñez (flute), Jorge González (bassoon) and Sebastián Lizama (horn), met with all the sanitary measures so that the public can listen to “Milonga sin Words “,” Introduction and death of an Angel “and” Libertango “by the Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla. He will also perform “Belle Epoque in Sud América”, by the Brazilian Julio Medaglia, and “La Flor de la Canela”, by the great Chabuca Granda of Peru.
The OCM Online and TRM Sessions events are held in the Regional Theater hall, as well as in other cultural venues, without an audience to be transmitted free of charge through the institution’s digital platforms. It should be noted that all sanitary measures were taken during the recordings.
This concert is part of the intense programming of the stable cast of TRM. Added to “Piazzolla y Sudamérica” is a special by Beethoven, within the framework of the 250 years since his birth, an eclectic program called “Introspección Sonora”, and two Christmas music events.
The Maule Classical Orchestra is financed by the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage, with contributions from the Maule Regional Government.
