The world celebrates Valentine’s Day on February 14 of each year, and the catering sector is witnessing great competition between shops and restaurants in the United Kingdom, to provide the best offers to customers in order to spend a romantic night with luxurious and affordable dinner.
And with Valentine’s Day approaching, the largest stores in Britain are offering huge savings on Valentine’s Day meals for people who prefer to celebrate this occasion, in order to take advantage of a large discount that may reach 19 pounds sterling.

• Morrisons
Morrisons offers an affordable meal that will save you £19.29
The offer for two people includes a three course consisting of beef patty, garlic bread sticks, cheese cake and panna cona in addition to appetizers and comes with a soft drink or wine.
Shoppers who use the my Morrisons card can save more money depending on the discounts available through the rewards system.
The offer is available in-store and online from February 8 to February 14.
• M&S
A Valentine’s Day treat at M&S costs around £20, but will save you around £17.50.
The meal includes a sumptuous shrimp cocktail, sirloin steak, a bottle of Proxo, and chocolate pudding, in addition to appetizers.
The offer is available to shoppers from Thursday, February 9th to Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, February 14th.
• Waitrose
Waitrose shoppers can get a full meal for £20.
The meal offer includes salmon mousse, rump steak with chimichurri and potato gratin, and chocolate pudding with a drink to accompany the meal.
Were it not for this offer, you would have paid £33.14 for this meal, compared to £20, which means a saving of over £13.
• Coop
Co-op is offering a Valentine’s Day meal for two that could save you around £10.75.
This meal includes garlic pieces, sirloin steaks, mashed potatoes and a piece of dessert, in addition to appetizers.
And if you want to add some alcohol to your meal instead of soft drinks, it will cost you £16 for card members and £20 for non-Co_op card holders.
• Asda
Asda is offering a three course meal for two on Valentine’s Day for £15 which should save you around £10.
The meal includes truffle cheese, chicken liver parfait or veggie mushroom arancini hearts, as well as an Aberdeen Angus beef burger or cold cuts and dessert.
And lovers can end their meal with cups of Italian espresso tiramisu, and this meal would have cost you about 25 pounds sterling had it not been for this offer.
• Tesco
Tesco is offering a £12 Valentine’s Day meal for two, including a main course, dessert and one drink.
Customers can choose from a range of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes including croquettes with black pepper and parsley and truffle mac or cheese.
As for the maximum savings that a customer can achieve, it is £ 9.60, and if you do not have a Tesco card, you will have to pay £ 21 for the same meal.
