Urania in Graz offered around 1000 courses a year before Corona, 18,000 people learned Spanish there, delved into the art of watercolor painting or the legacy of the Habsburgs. With the pandemic, the institution lost around a third of its course participants. “We want to focus on education,” announces the Styrian Urania boss Wolfgang Moser – and he doesn’t mean that just symbolically. After 26 years in Palais Trauttmansdorff in Burggasse, the educational institution will move to new premises directly on Graz’s main square in mid-July.
