On the First Day of Ramadan in the Eastern Region, the Percentage of Absent Students is Unexpectedly High.

Al-Marsad Newspaper: Schools in the Eastern Region witnessed a noticeable absence of male and female students of various educational levels, with the first day of study in the holy month of Ramadan.

The absence rate in most schools exceeded 70% of the total number of students, as the school day began at 9:30 am with the start of the first session, which was reduced to 35 minutes according to working hours during the month of Ramadan, according to Al-Youm.

The General Administration of Education in the Eastern Region set the working hours during the month of Ramadan for students, so that the official working hours in all public and private schools begin at half past nine in the morning, and the duration of the class is 35 minutes, with time allocated for the noon prayer.
