Dirty Deal Teatro (DDT) and the Estonian Kanuti Gidi Saal greet the audience on International Theater Day with a free online performance, Art, which will be broadcast on March 27 at 7 p.m. DDT website, informed the representatives of the theater. –
The concept of “Gesamtkunstwerk” or “total work of art” formulated by Richard Wagner envisages combining all arts into one grand work. In collaboration with Estonian artist Henri Hütt, Latvian artists Kārlis Krūmiņš, Ieva Kauliņa and Alise Danovska create a show with the aim of trying to fuse all Latvian theaters into one whole in honor of the International Theater Day.
The author of the idea, Henry Hits, said: “This project symbolizes unattainable art. As artists, we did everything we could to get closer to our utopian dream. I think about what is common and different in Latvian theaters, how valuable it is.
I hope that after this adventure, each theater will appreciate the step taken closer to stronger ties. ”
With a project produced by DDT and Kanuti Gidi Saal, the theater wants to welcome the audience to the festival by providing a free live broadcast of the show on the evening of March 27 at 7 pm on the renovated website of Dirty Deal Teatro. The performance will be shown only once in the “Theater Day” section of the website.
