Organized by ‘ASCAM Pilar Domingo’ this Saturday 15 October a ‘March of Solidarity’ will be held in Ponteareas, in conjunction with the commemoration of World Breast Cancer Day. A solidarity activity that counts with the collaboration of the Council to make the disease visible and support all women affected by this disease “with particular attention to what surrounds us”, according to the message of the mayor, Cristina Fernández through a press release , having indicated to him that “Saturday we will continue to strengthen the bonds of solidarity to get closer to the reality of one of the most common types of cancer today, an activity that will allow the neighborhood to discover all the programs and services that Ascam offers, and to raise awareness and to sensitize the population on the importance of early diagnosis of this disease “.
At about four in the afternoon on Saturday (16:00), as explained by the Asociación Cancro de Mama Pilar Domíngo, Ascam, the solidarity march – back and forth – will begin in Praza Maior with the arrival of the participants and a hour later (4:30 pm), the walk will begin with a visit to the Pardellas football pitch, where a Zumba group activity is planned. Eventually, I go back to Praza Maior where there will be another Zumba session animated by monitors Bruno Hermida, Noelia Rodríguez, Inma Vilaboa and Jesid Ortega. And to close the day of solidarity, a dance event by the Casal-Salvaterra group of modern, cultural and sporting dance. Activities open to all those who want to join. The event will be presented by the journalist Terio Carrera, who will also make use of the collaboration of the Orquesta Tango.
And so, with the aim of continuing to commemorate World Breast Cancer Day for another year, for the whole Saturday afternoon Ascam will have set up an information stand in Praza Maior de Ponteareas to disseminate and make visible the programs and activities. which plays and also a small ‘merchandising’ satand.
