On the Aurelia like at Silverstone: he was going at 216 km/h

He was speeding at 216 kilometers per hour on the Aurelia bis in Villanova d’Albenga. The Traffic Police immortalized the new “Hamilton” by stopping the driver, a Piedmontese entrepreneur, at the wheel of a supercar during checks dedicated to “black mark” traffic but also in what is, on a continental level, the week dedicated to the violation of speed limits and defined as “Roadpol Speed”.

The speed limit on that stretch of road is 90 kilometers per hour and the man’s driving license was immediately revoked.

In total, during these days of super traffic in Liguria, nine licenses were withdrawn and 58 violations were contested for a total of 197 points deducted from the licenses of the violators. Two vehicles were seized and five were subjected to administrative detention.
