Saleh Selim achieved 11 league championships out of 15 championships in which Saleh participated since the start of the Egyptian Football League in 1948, as well as achieved with the Al-Ahly Club Egypt Cup 8 times, and with his team won the United Arab Republic Cup in 1961.

At the international level, Saleh Selim joined the Egyptian soccer team in 1950, and he was the captain of the team that won the African Nations Cup in 1959 in Cairo, and also participated with the national team in the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960.

Saleh Selim scored 101 goals in his football career, including 9 goals during his professional career in Austria with the Graz team, and 92 goals he scored with Al-Ahly in the League and Cup championships.

The fame of the late “Saleh Salim” was not limited to the sports field only, but he broke into the artistic field and participated in acting in a number of cinematic films, including “The Seven Girls” and “Black Candles” and “The Open Door”, achieving great success at the technical level and attracting a great deal to him From the Egyptian masses.
