– On the 27th, the second day of the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) vaccination, confirmed cases followed one after another across the country. According to the quarantine authorities and local governments, a total of 255 new confirmed cases nationwide tested positive for Corona 19 from 0 o’clock to 6 PM on that day.
This is 44 fewer than the 299 counted at the same time the day before. As time remains until midnight when the count is closed, the number of new confirmed cases to be announced as of 0:00 on the 28th is expected to increase further to 300.
In the area where confirmed cases were found, 207 (81.2%) in the metropolitan area and 48 (18.8%) in the non-metropolitan area.
By city and province, 110 people in Seoul, 85 people in Gyeonggi, 12 people in Incheon, 9 people in Gwangju, 6 people in Jeonbuk and Chungbuk, 5 people in each of Busan and Daegu, 4 people in Ulsan and Chungnam, 3 people in Gyeongbuk, 2 people each in Gyeongnam and Gangwon, Sejong and Jeju are each one. Out of 17 cities and provinces nationwide, there have been no confirmed cases in Daejeon and Jeonnam.
The number of new confirmed cases has remained in the 300-400 range for the last week. By day, 416 people (21 days) → 332 people (22 days) → 356 people (23 days) → 440 people (24 days) → 396 people (25 days) → 406 people (26 days) → 415 people (27 days) ), an average of 394 people per day.
The quarantine authorities are closely watching the situation where group infections continue to occur in various places ahead of the opening of school next week, as the stagnation period with no obvious increase or decrease continues.
