On suspicion of verbal harassment of a female student, a high school guidance teacher in central Java transferred

High school counseling guidance teacher (BK) state in PekalonganCentral Java, suspected of verbally abusing several female students. The teacher was transferred to the Education Service Branch Office in Kendal.

Reported detikJatengOn Thursday (3/10/2024), several high school students in Pekalongan held a demonstration at the school. They asked the school to sanction teacher BK with the initials S because he was suspected of verbally abusing dozens of female students.

The head of SMAN 3 Pekalongan City, Yulianto Nurul Furqon, said that this case was being investigated by the Education Service of Central Java (Central Java). S was transferred to the service branch in Kendal.

“That teacher is currently stationed at the branch of the service, being moved until he waits for the decision of the Head of the Department’s Education Service. Yes, as of today,” said Yulianto.

Julianto is still waiting for a decision from the provincial government regarding this matter. “I’m just waiting, we’re civil servants, we’re waiting for orders,” he said.
