On Sunday, Covid-19 was detected in one person in Latvia

888 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia last day and one new case of the disease was registered, according to the information compiled by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC). The information available to the SPKC indicates that the patient is the contact person.

In total, 226,524 examinations have been performed in Latvia so far, 1,323 persons have become ill and 1,078 have recovered. 32 Covid-19 patients died.

Data from the National Health Service show that one new patient with Covid-19 was hospitalized in the last 24 hours. At present, five patients are being treated in hospitals, all with a moderate course of the disease. So far, 198 patients have been discharged from the hospital.
