On St. Stephen’s Day, we celebrate sustainability and the creative person – Dunakanyar Region

On St. Stephen’s Day, we will especially celebrate the thousand years of perseverance and the creative man who created our founding king, said the Minister of Justice when he presented state awards on Monday in Budapest on August 20.

because of Szent István established the continuous statehood of Hungary for more than a thousand yearsand we created something from which we can draw strength and a pattern for our own lives, especially the ability to stay – said Bence Tuzson.
On this day, those who deserve it are given because the state expresses its appreciation for the creative person, he said.
The minister thought it was worth thinking about what kind of King St. István we celebrate on August 20. Some saw him as a strong leader, some as a holy king, and some as a warlord. A strong, holy leader was also needed at that time, because at that time it had not yet been decided whether Hungary could begin the path of the Christian nations, and it had not been decided whether St. Stephen could keep the country under control.
When we remember the establishment of the state, he continued, we first remember that Saint István was a creative king, and we, the descendants, got the ability to live from him.
In this regard, he drew attention to the fact that in the European Union, together with Hungary, only France can say that it has been a continuous state for more than a thousand years.

Therefore, it is not a coincidence that, compared to other countries that celebrate big changes or revolutions on their national holidays, Hungarians do not celebrate big changes with the establishment of the state, but stability, as Hungary lives, he said.
Finally, he thanked the awardees for making a lasting impact in their respective fields for the benefit of the nation and the nation. With their creations and actions, they put together and draw the mosaic that represents Hungary.
On August 20, Bence Tuzson presented the Officer’s Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit, the Knight’s Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit and the Hungarian Gold Cross at the ceremony.
