On Saturday, we have a terrible weather with many changes

On the night of Saturday, it will remain mostly clear and quiet over the whole country. The minimum temperatures will rise and will be between 18° and 23°C. We expect the highest values ​​to be in the plains and along the Black Sea – up to 19-23°C.

During the day on Saturday it will be mostly sunny. In the afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop over the mountainous regions of Western and Northern Bulgaria, and heavy rains will fall in many places by the evening. There will also be conditions for hail and squall phenomena. In the evening, the wind will gradually shift from the northwest and increase, especially in the Danube plain; in Eastern Bulgaria – to a moderate wind from the southeast.

Maximum temperatures will remain high and will be between 35-38°С, highest in the Danube plain – up to 37-38°С. This is the forecast of the forecasters from Meteo Balkans (“Meteo Balkans”) for Saturday.

The MeteoBalkans team issues a map with severe weather warnings valid for Saturday. The dangerous phenomena will be late in the afternoon and on the night of Sunday, and in separate areas. The map shows the areas where they are most likely, but the storms will not cover the entire area.

Weather on the Black Sea

It will be clear at night, and mostly sunny and warm during the day. Maximum air temperatures – 29-31°. Sea water temperature – 24-26°.

The weather in Sofia

During the day, it will be mostly sunny and warm in the capital. Cumulus-rain clouds will develop in the afternoon and showers accompanied by thunder are possible in the evening. The expected minimum temperatures will be around 17°C, and the maximum – up to 34°C.

Weather in the mountains

In the afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop in the massifs of Western and Central Bulgaria, and in some places it will rain and thunder in the evening. A moderate wind will blow, and in the open and high parts – a strong wind from the northwest. Maximum temperatures at an altitude of 1200-1300 meters will exceed 26°, at 2000 meters – about 19°.

The weather in the Balkans

Until noon, the weather will be mostly sunny and warm. In the afternoon, due to an approaching atmospheric disturbance, significant amounts of precipitation will fall in many places.
