A total of 518 administrative offense decisions have been taken in the field of road traffic, including 269 for speeding, 17 for driving under the influence of alcohol, one for driving under the influence of drugs and one for aggressive driving.

Most drivers are caught under the influence of alcohol in Latgale. Nine drivers were caught there on Saturday under the influence of alcohol, three in Zemgale, two in Vidzeme and Riga, and one in Kurzeme.

Protocols on aggressive driving and driving under the influence of drugs have been drawn up in Riga.

The highest speeding was in Zemgale. 78 speeding offenders were caught on its roads, 74 drivers were caught for speeding in Riga, 56 in Vidzeme, 38 in Kurzeme, and 23 in Latgale.
