The concert, which starts at 6 pm, will be broadcast live on Euroradio. It will be conducted by Radio “Klasika” journalist Liene Jakovļeva, but the nominees and winners of the Grand Music Prize will be played by kokleta Līga Griķe, saxophonist Aigars Raumanis and organist Aigars Reinis.
The program will feature music by Latvian composers and two premieres in various ensembles.
As organist Aigars Reinis tells “Delfi”, the organ balcony is like a room in a room – somewhere behind the balcony railing is the large church acoustics, but the organ balcony has its own intimate atmosphere, which is especially suitable for chamber music playing together. Tickets for the concert can be purchased at “Biļešu paradīze” box offices. The organizers of the concert ask visitors to arrive on time – after 6 pm entrance is not allowed. Concert attendees should also note that there is no lift to the organ balcony and there is a high level of climbing.
