There are still about four weeks until our event 30 years of Society in Switzerland from October 12th. The anticipation is growing!
In addition to the already announced two tastings with Olaf Meier (Olaf’s Choice and Islay Rarities) I would like to share a few other specialties that you can get to know on this day.
«BE SCOTTISH»: Our member Christoph Steffen and his partner import and distribute, among other things, the products of the Highland Soaps Co. in Switzerland. They will be there with their stand “Be Scottish”. For example, discover the product line “Whisky & Honey” for a piece of Scotland in your bathroom.
Simon Schmidlin Many of you know him as a helper at our tastings across Switzerland. On October 12th he will present all the varieties of sherry from Bodegas Tradiciòn and explain the differences. After our first visit to Jerez his comment was: “I have now drunk more sherry in 2 days than in my whole life before”. And he continues to drink sherry!
Robin Laing has given his performances short titles – Robert Burns & Whisky, Whisky & Women, Whisky Men, Island Whiskies & Speyside Drams and last but not least Robin’s Favourites. Those who know his repertoire can at best already assign songs to the individual themes.
Anyone who is tempted by our other spirits in addition to whisky has the opportunity to discover three new rums. We present all non-whisky bottlings separately so that everyone can keep track.
