The idea comes from Murielle Onguene, she is at the origin of the “Sang Froid” scenario. This 45-minute film tells the story of a lady from Cameroon who meets a man on social networks. She then moved to Belgium to live with him. This man will turn out to be violent and it is thanks to the help of his neighbor lawyer and owner of a strip club that our heroine will try to escape this situation.
“Sang Froid” is a film about violence against women, but also about revenge. The film also evokes the trafficking of women. “Our desire with the ASBL is to talk about social facts through cinema”, explains Stephen De Groote, artistic director of “Sang Froid”. After the screening of the film there will also be a discussion and discussion session.
This film, the ASBL wanted him dear. “We’re from Charleroi, I’m from Montignies-sur-Sambre and most of the actors are also Carolos. These are all people we met while making extras, “says Stephen. Part of the film was also shot in an African bar in downtown Charleroi.
The session is completely free and will take place on November 18th at 6pm at Coté Parc du Quai 10.
