On motorcycle and knife point suspects steal electric bicycles from their victims in NYC – NBC New York (47)

NEW YORK – Authorities are searching for suspects in a series of knife-point robberies, who are usually on a motorcycle in Manhattan, New York City Police announced. The alleged thieves take the electric bicycles of their victims, some of them food delivery people, in their robberies.

The first case occurred on Friday, February 12, at around 8:10 pm, when the victim, a 30-year-old man, was in charge of 320 East 190 Street, and was stopped by the two suspects on a motorcycle. The alleged thieves pulled out a knife and demanded the victim’s items. The suspects took the man’s electric bicycle and fled the scene.

Something similar happened on February 20, around 9:30 p.m., when a 36-year-old man, who was in charge of 440 St. Nicholas Avenue, he was hit by the two suspects who were on the motorcycle. This time the alleged attackers beat the victim before threatening him with the knife and taking his electric bicycle. The victim suffered minor head injuries.

The next day at night, in front of 321 1st Avenue, a 21-year-old was also beaten and kicked by the suspects who took his electric bicycle. On February 23, a food delivery man was trying to deliver the order when the suspects on the motorcycle beat him with their fists and also took away his electric bicycle. This time the event occurred in the 2186 5th Avenue.

The most recent reported robbery occurred on February 24, at about 9:30 p.m., in front of 68 Bradhurst Avenue, when a 25-year-old boy was attacked by motorcycle suspects who stole the electric bicycle of the victim who was beaten at the same time.

The suspects are described between their 18 and 26 years.
