On Monday, the country’s Christmas tree will arrive at Kossuth Lajos tér, with the help of experts from disaster management, the National Guard and the police. Until now, the pine has decorated the garden of a family house in Hajdúszoboszló, the Press Office of the Parliament told MTI on Saturday.
As it was written, on Monday morning the Office of the Parliament will set up the country’s Christmas tree on Kossuth Square, following decades of tradition.
Among the offerings, this year the choice fell on a 24-meter-tall, 80-centimeter trunk diameter, 5-ton pine, which until now decorated the garden of a family home in Hajdúszoboszló.
In the announcement, it was indicated that during the delivery of the pine wood, traffic restrictions and waiting times should be expected from 16:00 on Sunday.
