SHARJAH, 22nd March / WAM / The Sharjah Ladies Club, at its main headquarters and its 8 branches in the eastern and central regions, will be organizing from March 25th to April 13th, the Spring Adventure Camp, with the aim of developing children’s skills through a distinguished group of various educational and entertainment activities and programs, where learning mixes with fun. To invest their time and get the most out of it.
The “Spring Adventures Camp” at the main branch of the Sharjah Ladies Club, from March 27 to April 6, targets the age group between 3 and 10 years for girls and 3 and 8 for boys.
The Collage Center for Talents in the club organizes the “Young Talents” camp for the age group from 3 to 5 years, while many activities are held in the facilities of the branches, including the Ibdaa Center, Marassi Restaurant and the Tala Program, targeting children and adolescents from 4 to 16 years old and boys 8 years old.
The camp includes a variety of activities and interactive workshops that vary between arts, crafts and handicrafts. In conjunction with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, a workshop for making Ramadan lanterns will be presented, in addition to several recreational activities such as face painting.
Alaa Al-Shanasy, Head of Business Development Department at the Sharjah Ladies Club, said: “The club and its branches organize seasonal camps to coincide with the school holidays, with the aim of investing children’s and adolescents’ time in useful and entertaining activities that suit their interests, which enhances their creativity and talents.”
She added, “The club is keen to exploit all available capabilities and add everything new and innovative to the camp’s activities, which contribute to discovering and developing the talents of the participants. It is an opportunity that allows children to make new friends and develop many abilities, the most important of which is taking responsibility and enhancing social intelligence.”
The club and its branches are keen to organize camps on a seasonal basis as part of its plan aimed at inculcating moral and social values and laying the practical foundations that support their future lives, such as the spirit of teamwork, cooperation and respect for others in an interactive and beneficial atmosphere outside the framework and surroundings of the school and family environment.
